Entry #23: "A feminist is a man or woman who..."
The poem "Phenomenal woman" is considered a feminist literary production because of several reasons. Firstly, It tries to establish social equality of sexes by recognizing women ability of successing as any man could. Secondly, it engages women to have confidence and faith on themselves to achieve everything they propose. Moreover, the poem is against the idea of female successing only by using their beauty. This poem is against of several social stereotypes which make women feel inferior from men. All these features show that feminism fights for social, economic and personal equality between men and women. Nowadays, the term FEMINISM becomes really popular among different cultures. Although most people consider that this movement involve only women, men decide to be feminist increasingly. However, there exist many men who reject feminist ideas yet. Undoubtedly, It is time to change certain aspects of our culture to acquire an equal gender society. For that rea
